Before opening LERIS

Requirements

Prepare the records that establish your identity, eligibility, and education. Your transaction may request additional documents.

Basic Requirements

  • Filipino citizen, or otherwise qualified under PRC rules
  • Good moral character
  • No final conviction involving moral turpitude
  • Complete personal details in the PRC online application system

Educational Requirements

  • Elementary: Bachelor of Elementary Education or equivalent teacher education preparation
  • Secondary: Bachelor of Secondary Education, or a relevant bachelor's degree with professional education units
  • Major or specialization aligned with the Secondary exam you will take
  • Transcript and school records that match your PRC application details

Required Documents

  • Valid government-issued ID
  • Recent ID photo that follows current PRC photo requirements
  • Transcript of Records and school documents required by PRC
  • Birth certificate or name-change documents if your records do not match
  • Other PRC-specified documents for your applicant type
