PRC LERIS Guide for LET Applications

A source-aware walkthrough of the PRC online portal, from preparing records to following the instructions generated for your LET transaction.

On this page

Check the source before starting

LERIS is PRC's online service for examination applications. It handles the transaction, but the factual starting point is PRC's current Professional Teachers entry in the official List of Requirements.

Published teacher checklist

  • PSA Birth Certificate
  • PSA Marriage Contract for married female applicants
  • TOR with scanned picture and the remarks “For Board Examination Purposes”
  • The degree qualification for the Elementary or Secondary level
  • The examination fee published by PRC

Do not assume that every applicant follows the same upload or in-person procedure. Verify the current PRC list first, then follow the fields and instructions LERIS generates for your transaction.

A careful LERIS application flow

  1. 1

    Open the official portal

Go directly to online.prc.gov.ph and verify the .gov.ph address before entering personal information.

  2. 2

    Create or open your account

Complete only the fields LERIS displays. Match names, birth details, and school records to your official documents.

  3. 3

    Start an examination transaction

Select the Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers and review the level, specialization, location, and other choices shown before continuing.

  4. 4

    Review the transaction instructions

Use the payment option, deadline, appointment details, and document checklist shown for that transaction. These can vary by filing and location.

  5. 5

    Save the generated records

Keep the transaction reference, payment confirmation, and any appointment document LERIS provides so you can follow up through an official PRC channel.

Protect your account

Use the official domain and keep your password and transaction details private.

Follow the displayed terms

Use only the payment option and timing shown in your active LERIS transaction.

Use generated instructions

Treat the appointment record and current PRC advisory as the operational checklist.

Let the appointment record define the next step

If LERIS generates an appointment or transaction document, read every line before visiting a PRC office. Bring the records it names and follow the location and schedule shown. A generic online checklist should never override your current PRC instructions.

Before leaving for an appointment

  • Reopen the transaction and verify its current status
  • Read the generated document checklist
  • Confirm the office, date, and time shown
  • Keep the transaction and payment references available
  • Check current PRC or regional-office advisories
  • Ask PRC if any instruction is unclear or contradictory

Troubleshoot without guessing

The portal does not accept an entry

Compare the value with your source document, note the message shown, and use PRC support rather than changing a legal name or date to bypass validation.

A payment does not appear in the transaction

Keep the official reference and contact the payment provider or PRC through the channel named in the transaction. Do not pay a second time unless an official instruction tells you to.

The next step is unclear

Sign in to LERIS, review the transaction and appointment record, then compare them with current PRC advisories. Contact the relevant PRC office when the instructions differ.
