How to Apply for the LET Through PRC LERIS
On this page
Two sources guide the application
PRC's List of Requirements tells you the published requirements for Professional Teachers. Your active LERIS transaction and appointment record tell you how to complete that particular filing. Verify both before acting.
Prepare the published core records
The current PRC Professional Teachers entry lists the following core items. It does not establish one universal upload, office-visit, or approval workflow for every applicant.
Identity records
- PSA Birth Certificate
- PSA Marriage Contract for married female applicants
School record
- TOR with scanned picture
- Remarks: “For Board Examination Purposes”
Degree qualification
- BSEED/BEED for the Elementary level
- BSED or the published equivalent route for the Secondary level
Fee
- PRC currently publishes ₱900 for the complete examination
- Confirm the amount again in the active transaction before paying
If your name, citizenship, school, degree, or other circumstances need special handling, contact PRC before paying. Do not substitute a checklist written for someone else.
Step-by-step application process
- 1
Verify the filing window and official requirements
Check the current examination schedule and the Professional Teachers entry in PRC's List of Requirements before preparing a transaction.
- Confirm that the application period is open
- Match your intended exam level to the published degree qualification
- Review the current document list and examination fee
- 2
Sign in to the official PRC portal
Use online.prc.gov.ph. Create an account if needed and enter personal and educational details exactly as your official records show them.
- Verify the .gov.ph domain
- Use your complete legal name and accurate birth details
- Review every field before saving
- 3
Create the examination transaction
Choose the Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers and carefully review the level, specialization, place, and other options LERIS displays.
- Do not rely on a saved screenshot of an older portal flow
- Check each selection against your degree and records
- Stop and ask PRC if your correct option is not available
- 4
Follow the active transaction instructions
Use the payment channel, amount, deadline, and any document action shown in LERIS for that transaction. Portal options can change.
- Review the amount and transaction reference before paying
- Keep the provider's confirmation and PRC reference
- Return to the transaction to confirm the next instruction shown
- 5
Use the generated appointment checklist
If an appointment or office visit is generated, follow its location, schedule, and document checklist rather than a generic list from another applicant.
- Read the complete appointment or transaction document
- Check current PRC and regional-office advisories
- Ask the relevant office about any conflicting instruction
- 6
Keep the transaction traceable
Save your reference details and review LERIS and official PRC announcements for any next action connected to your filing.
- Keep records of the completed transaction
- Use official support when a correction is needed
- Verify later exam-day instructions from the current exam program and room assignment
The appointment is a handoff, not a generic ritual
Follow what was generated
Use the location, schedule, and document list shown on your appointment or transaction record. Recheck it shortly before any office visit in case PRC posts a relevant advisory.
Escalate unclear instructions
If the portal, appointment record, and regional guidance do not agree, save the conflicting instructions and ask the relevant PRC office which one applies to your transaction.
Start from PRC, not a copied checklist
